How early do I book my appointment?


As soon as you know your date, especially during busy seasons (April - September) & (November-December), to avoid disappointment, as these dates can fill up fast. We only require a $200 booking fee to secure your date, which will deduct off your total value. Should you have any questions please feel free to reach out.




Do I need to book a trial?


Trials are non-obligatory but highly recommended. They give you a chance to see if we are the right fit for you. This give us an opportunity to discuss and go over the desired makeup and hair needs for the day. It also allows us to cover any special needs and requirments that may need to be arranged for, before or during the event. These give you peace of mind that we have you taken care of, knowing what you will receive and how you can prepare for the booking as well to achieve the best possible outcome.




When should I book my trial?


As soon as you know your desired date, secure the booking to avoid disappointment. We recommend tieing it in with a special event or a photoshoot, but allow enough time for us to go through the process of the trial.




Who do I bring with me to the trial ?


It is recommended to bring one other person a support to your trial - Such as your mother, MOH, or a trusted friend to be by your side. Too many people can add conflicting decisions and can feel very overwhelming. Having a trusted support person can help with easing uncertainty or any anxious bride-to-be. I am here to cover all angels and ensure I deliever your vision with the best fit for you so you can exude confidence and peace of mind for tje big day. We capute photos at the end of the trial for records and use as reference for our brides.




Touch up kits & Services


Complimentary mini touch up kit is provided for Bride and Bridesmaids for the day. These include mini lipstick (of choice from makeup application), blotting powder & sponge. Touch up services are also available before walk down aisle, photos and receiption- on a hourly rate or half day rate. Please contact me for more information.




What do you require for on location service?


I will need a designated space, ideally near a area that is cool but near a large window or we lit space. Power point and table space to set up chair & kit out of the way. I will contact prior to appointment to ensure the arrangements are suitable. If there is a high chair/stool available this would be ideal but can manage without one. If I need to travel up a flight of stairs and no elevator is available - please let me know so I can make the arrangements as the kit, can be heavy at times.




What do you bring to your bookings?


I bring my own kit makeup/hair (dependant of booked service) Makeup chair Lighting - incase nautural lighting situation is not ideal or situated in a dark room. Table - if one is not available.




When is full payment due?


Balance is due 14 days prior to event/wedding date. Paid via eftpos or bank deposit. Without the balance no services will commence. At this stage of the booking all payments are finalised are now non-refundable and non-transferrable, as this day has been especially locked away for you. We understand unforeseen circumstances can occur and at our own discretion potential to move date of wedding may be arraged.




What order do you complete the makeup services in? And do you suggest hair or makeup first?


Usually I will do bridesmaids/mothers,the bride is usually 3rd or 2nd last in the order so makeup is at it's freshest for the day, yet ready with enough time to relax and enjoy a wine, snack or have pre-wedding shots taken with the photographer. I like to get in touch with your chosen photographer prior to the date, so I can ensure timing so the bride and bridal party is ready for when photos are being taken; for getting ready shots, pre-wedding photos. I can operate both ways, hair or makeup first. However, I do recommend usually hair first, so the fine details that work around the hairline for makeup can be completed without a worry of makeup being washed away or touched during hair appointment.




Booking a professional makeup/hair artist for your wedding day?


Should I Book a professional artist: Absoultely, having a professionally trained artist, who understands their products, photography & lighting needs, enviromental factors and reliable are very important for big days such as these. Having someone you will know that will take care of all you needs and wants for the day checks the list so you can simply enjoy one of the most important days of your life. Why should I book you? If you can provide as much information as possible so I can provide you with the most information and best quote possible. I like to be as transparent as possible so there are no last minute surprises. I try to keep my quotes reasonable in balance with skill, training and experience.
